One morning in December, the long winter sleep of the Moomin family was interrupted. The world outside the walls of the house changed beyond recognition: something white and mysterious covered the entire Moomin Valley, there and there were dreamers and gemuls, hung with gifts and packages with festive snacks and drinks. Everyone was in excited anticipation of something headed for Moomin Valley. That mysterious Something seemed very dangerous and was called Christmas.
