The purpose of this self-study guide, which includes sixteen lessons, is to help the reader quickly and effectively master the Georgian language without resorting to the help of a tutor. The book covers the entire volume of grammatical and lexical material necessary for studying the language at the initial levels A1 and A2. The authors tried to present the grammatical material in the most accessible form and provide it with a large number of visual diagrams, tables and examples with commonly used vocabulary. With the exception of the first lesson, which is entirely devoted to Georgian writing, each of the remaining fifteen lessons contains new vocabulary, a text that is relevant in theme to the material of the entire lesson, a grammar section, as well as examples of phrases and expressions common in everyday Georgian speech.
