The book ‘The Paths of Eurydice’ is an adventure novel with elements of mysticism by the modern Ukrainian writer Natalia Dovgopol. Costas Ypsilandis, a Greek historian and famous writer, has appropriated the authorship of the manuscript of the Kiev woman Vera-Nika Shcherbina, or simply Vera. Now the girl seeks to restore justice and prove to the world: this man is a fraud, and his book ‘Our Last Sacrifice’ is a blatant plagiarism. The heroine dares to travel to Greece, where the presentation of the novel by Costas Ypsilandis will take place. She planned only to expose the insidious writer, but instead she found herself at the epicenter of her own fears and the dangers of the Orphic cult.
