The book represents the first attempt at a phraseological description of the Old Church Slavonic superverbal linguistic units. The sources for it were the most ancient monuments of Slavic writing, dating back to the 10th-11th centuries. In addition to the semantic and illustrative zones, each dictionary entry contains information of a source study nature, if necessary, includes etymological or cultural information, synonyms or antonyms found in the studied texts, and ends with references to various dictionaries, allowing one to trace the fate of the analyzed unit.
