SKA from St. Petersburg is one of the brightest hockey clubs in Russia. Over the past four seasons, the army team won the Gagarin Cup, the Continent Cup and won the Russian championship. SKA was played by world and olympic champions Alexey Gusarov, Alexander Barabanov and Alexey Kasatonov. Pavel Datsyuk, the star of world hockey, also plays there.
