The book contains three chapters 'Sounds', 'Rhythm', 'Intonation'. The manual also includes three appendices, one of which, 'The connection of phonetics with graphics and spelling. Some features of Russian literary pronunciation', an attempt is made to present the main orthoepic norms of the Russian language in exercises. 'Appendix III' provides a large methodological commentary on the formulation and correction of the pronunciation of Russian sounds, the construction of a course on sounding speech. This section is based on a comparison between English and Russian. However, the guidelines in Appendix III can be used when working with students of different nationalities.
