Julian Semenovich Semenov - Russian writer, historian, poet, journalist, author of the cult novel about Stirlitz, the legendary Soviet intelligence officer. Max Otto von Stirlitz (Colonel Maxim Maximovich Isaev) won the love of millions of readers and became a truly national hero. Jokes tell about him and continue to argue about his prototypes. For many years, Julian Semenov received letters from readers with an address on the envelope: 'Moscow, the Union of Writers, Semenov for Isaev-Shtirlitsa.'
