The cyberpunk literary genre remained in the nineties. All its literary consequences that we see around us are the development of the genre with the prefix ‘post’. ‘Pentoquant’ is exactly such a post-cyberpunk novel, an unbridled and large-scale techno-thriller that follows in the footsteps of ‘Cryptonomicon’ and ‘Avalanche’ by Neal Stevenson, while carrying the scars of ‘Andromeda Strain’ by Michael Crichton and ‘Neuromancer’ by William Gibson.
