The book offered to readers is devoted to completely different operations of the Second World War: the occupation of Denmark and Norway in April-June 1940, the battles in Southern Europe in 1940-1941, as well as the fighting in the North Caucasus in the spring of 1943. In three theaters of military operations remote from each other, the armies of different states were confronting each other. But still, there is one single principle that combines the 'battles of different peoples' that are so dissimilar to each other - these are air and sea landings that the warring parties carried out in the operations presented.
