This is the book of memories by Aleksandra Iurieva accompanied by comments by historian Kirsten Siver. This is a story of the naive and innocent girl from a good family who finds herself involved in a terrible predicament. She marries the Norwegian military man Vidkun Quisling, who helps Nunsen in the struggle against hunger in Ukraine (Kharkov). He moves his family abroad where it becomes apparent that he is a dishonest person who often cheats and lies. He is the same in his political career until he is charged with espionage and executed. The word Quisling was a synonym of traitor during the World War II. Alexandra Iurieva's life story is full of unfortunate events and circumstances, which she managed to overcome.
