Proza Aleksandra Solzhenitsyna. Opyt prochitaniia [Prose of Alexander Solzhenits

With a deep semantic unity, the prose of Alexander Solzhenitsyn (1918-2008) is distinguished by an amazing poetic variety. In the early 1960s, this was felt by the readers of the first published stories of an unexpectedly great, truly new writer: One Day by Ivan Denisovich was followed by strongly dissimilar with him The Case at Kochetovka Station and Matryonin Dvor. Every time new artistic decisions were revealed in the novel “In the First Circle” and the story “The Cancer Corps”, “Little Bits” and “The Experience of Artistic Research” “The Archipelago GULAG”. Even each of the four Nodes of “narration in measured terms” is constructed according to its own, special, poetic laws. In the book of A. S. Nemzer, Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s centenary, an attempt was made to “slowly read” a number of his writings, interpreting their genre, compositional, stylistic peculiarities, the specifics of Solzhenitsyn’s understanding of history and the human person.
