Language is not just a collection of words stored in dictionaries, nor an arbitrary set of meanings. Language is a way of thinking and a reflection of reality, it is a picture of the world that our distant ancestors began to draw and our distant descendants will continue to complete. We also take a direct part in its creation, constantly supplementing and improving the background and plot. Our language picture demonstrates how we see the world. And we see it in Ukrainian.
